I my opinion, yes their skin is tough to axes and swords but glass I think would be a different story. When you get sliced by glass in our world its a microscopic insicion, probably the size of our finger print. They're tough but only so tough. (Off topic) this also supports my theory that if goku was EVER hit by the rasenshuriken, he'd at least be incapacitated for a while, but that's for another time. Also I've never seen goku ever sit there and take bullets to the body, always dodging |

If Goku can apparently be hurt by one of Freeza's soldier's guns now, it's at-least consistent, in its inconstancy now. |

They aren't "made of steel". They actually use their Ki to protect their bodies, it's not that they are hard as stone, or are protected by something autonomous. They control their energy in order to protect them, or this usually happens unwillingly once they power up or awaken their Ki for battle. If they were to be sleeping, or just resting in their normal forms, they have the same physical durability as humans. Their bodies and muscles are the same as ours. It's their Ki/energy that amplifies their power. |

Wow, pretty sure this is nerco'd. Personally I think the shot just looks cool. Same reason that all of the candles in the church in Age of Extinction are ki. Because the shot is master to plot and logic. |

Swords aren't really even close to being as sharp as glass. Glass cuts are pore size or smaller incisions. Sharp like razors but probably sharper. |

But even still, it shouldn't hurt SSj4 Goku. That's too big a gap from Freeza to him. |
